1985 Mercedes 300 CD Coupe (RARE) – Decatur

Here is a rare and beautiful original California Mercedes 300CD two door coupe. Mercedes produced only 8007 of these coupes between 1978 - 1985 with much less of them being Turbo Diesel. This car was purchased by me about 2 years ago from California. It has been re-painted the orginal midnight blue and looks very elegant with tan color of the MB-Tex interior. The interior is very clean as well with no rips or tears in the seats, dash has no cracks and wood still shines great. The car drives excellent with no issues. It has always been very well taken care of and it shows. Updated stereo with CD player and works great. The engine starts right up and runs great. The 4 speed automatic transmission changes perfect. Everything works except the power antenna,cruise and drivers side rear window will not go down. The only rust is the surface rust identified in picture and i could not find any bondo. . This Mercedes is straight and shows no signs of being in a accident. Previous owner had replaced both side front lower control arm ball joints, front lower control arms steering dampner, engine and transmission mounts.I had a new a/c compressor installed,updated to R-134 and a front end alignment New tires about 5K miles ago.
